Terms & Conditions

By placing an order with Cakefully Delish, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read carefully.

1. Orders & Lead Time

• All cakes are made to order. We require a minimum of:

  • 5 days’ notice for standard custom cakes (depending on design complexity)

  • 30 days’ notice for tiered or wedding cakes

• Last-minute orders may be accommodated subject to availability and may incur a rush fee.

2. Payments & Deposits

• A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your booking.

• The balance is due at least 3 days before the scheduled pickup or delivery.

• Orders are not confirmed until the deposit is received.

• Accepted payment methods: Bank transfer, PayID, or other methods advised.

3. Cancellations & Refunds

• Standard Custom Cakes

  • Cancellations within 3 days of the event will forfeit the full deposit.

  • Cancellations made more than 5 days before the event may be eligible for a full refund, minus any costs already incurred.

• Tiered & Wedding Cakes

  • Cancellations within 15 days of the event may be eligible for a partial refund, at our discretion, to cover incurred expenses.

  • Cancellations made more than 15 days before the event may be eligible for a full refund, minus costs incurred.

• General

  • No refunds will be issued for change of mind or for orders already completed.

  • In the rare event of an error on our part, we will offer a partial refund or store credit, at our discretion.

4. Design & Customisation

• We do our best to replicate designs discussed, but minor variations may occur as each cake is handcrafted.

• Colours, sizes, and decorative elements may differ slightly due to availability or technical constraints.

• It is the customer’s responsibility to review and confirm all details (spelling, colours, themes) prior to final approval.

5. Allergies & Dietary Requirements

• Our products may contain or come into contact with common allergens such as eggs, dairy, gluten, soy, and nuts.

• We are not a certified allergen-free kitchen, and cannot guarantee the absence of trace allergens.

• At Cakefully Delish, we strictly adhere to Australian Food Safety Standards in the preparation, handling, and storage of all our products to ensure the highest level of hygiene and food quality.

6. Pickup & Delivery

• Pickups are from Epping, NSW by prior arrangement only.

• Delivery is available within Epping and surrounding suburbs. Fees start from $20, based on distance.

• It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure someone is available to receive the cake at the agreed time.

• Once a cake is collected or delivered, Cakefully Delish is not liable for any damage caused during transport or handling.

7. Cake Storage & Handling

• Buttercream cakes should be stored in a cool environment and refrigerated if not consumed immediately.

• Cakes should be brought to room temperature before serving for best flavour and texture.

• We are not responsible for any damage caused due to improper storage or handling after pickup/delivery.

8. Photography & Promotion

• We reserve the right to photograph your cake for promotional use on our website and social media, unless requested otherwise in writing.

9. Agreement

• By paying a deposit or confirming an order, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to Cakefully Delish's Terms and Conditions.
